Had a 1 night stay there. Room 205 was really outdated and needs refurbishment. The kettle smelled strangely so we didn't used it to make tea. There were cobwebs on the ceiling. Staff was friendly. Location was great. Everything is easy to reach. It was a spontaneous overnight stay. We would not book again there.

The rooms were incredibly cosy. It was almost winter temperature in Autumn, we woke and it was so warm and nice jn the rooms, we didn't need the heaters. It wasn't noisy either above the pub.

If you want an authentic old style hotel accomodation, with a great restaurant below, the Old Mill House at Hahndorf is a destination you should consider.

Very old property. Ran down furniture. They tried to make it clean though. Beds are good and clean. I did not like the smell in the room and lack of insects net on windows (could not open it). The stuff was not welcoming.

Great stay at Old Mill Motel. Small room in an old building adds to the charm of staying in Handorf. The room had a kettle, plates etc so perfect if you want to make your own breakfast/snack.

Rooms were spacious & clean but haven'tbeen renovatedfor a while. Parking was generous and everything you needed was within walking distance. The Bar/Steakhouse attached to the motel was amazing, the food was incredible. The garden/views was the only let down, with both windows opening to a shed and the dumping ground behind the shed.

Our stay was just one night and didn’t get a chance to dine in. However we arrived early and while our room wasn’t ready we had a drink in the bar and chatted to staff who were wonderful.

The check in staff and hotel staff were very friendly, we were in an upstairs room. The room was basic but reasonably comfortable but looking very tired. Only 2 pillows had to put the bed cushions under the pillows. The music coming from the downstairs bar was very loud and still going at midnight.

Although it is an older building the rooms were very comfortable. For us the fact we had to use stairs (no lift) was a bit tough as they are very steep. Overall the property is very nice, staff are friendly and explained everything clearly. A minor problem was that the TV did no pick up all the channels only the standard definition ones. We enjoyed our stay in Hahndorf.

Staff very welcoming and helpful particularly Sara. Room very clean but property in need of general maintenance ie cracked glass in window, sash window difficult to open because of weed growing up inside window sash which we pulled out then window opened. View from one bedroom window very scruffy. Meal and service in Restaurant excellent.
