Gut: Hyggelig betjening
Nicht so gut: Renhold utenfor og i fellesarealer
Lage: Ok.
Dette hotellet er nedslitt og skittent, spesielt utenfor inngangen og i felles arealer. Det virker som om man har gitt opp å gjennomføre selv enkelt vedlikehold, og bare venter på at hotellet skal rives eller totaltenoveres. Til tross for dette var det bra renhold av bad, sengetøy osv, og betjeningen var riktig hyggelig.

unclean and in poor condition
Veröffentlicht am 22.07.2012 auf HotelsOur room was spacious but that was the only positive. Shower tiles had a lot of mildew in crevices. Furniture was torn on armrests and felt sticky and unclean. Carpet in room and hallway was stained and worn. Overall hotel had a worn and unkempt appearance.

Near William and Mary for a college visit

Gut: Suite room layout.
Nicht so gut: Common areas need repairs
Lage: Easy access to attractions
Common areas of hotel are in a bit of disrepair. Room was comfortable and nice for a family because of the seperate room. Breakfast was very good.

Disappointing, keep searching
Veröffentlicht am 28.06.2012My first impression was that the hotel had not received much in the way of upkeep and the room had not been dusted in quite some time - a bit disappointing, to say the least. I actually broke down and dusted to make the stay acceptable. The linens were clean (the bleach scent was notable) and orderly. Our visit to the pool was a short one due to the water being over-chlorinated. The staff, however, was friendly and willing to assist. Fresh, hot coffee was always on hand in the lobby. The breakfast room was clean, tidy, and by the far the most impressive part of the stay. The food was hot, tasty, constantly replenished, and here again, the staff was warm and friendly. In the end, I would not recommend the hotel to a friend, but the friendly staff and breakfast certainly helped make up for the overall disappointment of our family's stay. We will not stay there in the future.

1st room not cleaned 2nd room broken door
Veröffentlicht am 26.06.2012 auf HotelsThe manager we spoke to on day 2 was very helpful and polite but that was the only good part of our stay. 1st room we were given was not cleaned (we even checked in late) dirty towels and trash all over the room and bed unmade. 2nd room that night had broken door connecting to the living area and torn blankets for the pull out sofa but we stayed. Then we realized the sink in living area leaked and carpet was always wet. Later we found large amounts of mold on the wall in the concession area which was covered by a sheet - we saw it when a child pulled on the sheet. Exiting the hotel was dangerous unless you went the opposiste direction of most attractions. Would not return and will not use this site for hotel again. For only a few dollars more (6) we could have gotten 2 rooms with a connecting door at a nicer place. Have stayed at hotels rated 2 stars with other sites and they seemed like 5 star places compared to this.
