Das Hotel und die Zimmer sind sehr schön. Der Strand und die Schnorchelmöglichkeit waren traumhaft, aber insgesamt würden wir so viel Geld nicht nochmals für dieses Hotel ausgeben. Da gibt es einfach preiswertere, welche auch schön sind :-)

Good hotel at great location
Veröffentlicht am 24.10.2018 auf HotelsWe are a family of 3 and travel regularly staying in upper class hotels around the world. First of all we liked the location. Wonderful beach and a small lagoon with ok snorkelling. Our 6 year old son was able to swim and snorkel here.
We had a beachfront room (166) for 1 week which was only some steps away from the beach. The layout is great. The room itself is a bit dated and smells moldy. To help against the smell we had a dehumidifier in the room. In our opinion the bath room has mold behind the wooden applications.
Room service is mediocre. Still dirt on tiles from previous guests. The ugly ones below the mirror. No regular refill of amenities. Some days we got a water bottle and some not.
Pool nice size and clear water. However I am not sure who had the idea to paint the wooden pool deck. The color is peeling off everywhere and is extremely slippery. Several of the sunbeds are a bit saggy.
Reception - overall was friendly and well organised. We received a good personal welcome and introduction to the hotel.
Staff - overall ok and friendly. Some hotel staff does not look very motivated though.
Restaurants - main buffet restaurant was ok. The staff was very friendly here. The food for the price (500SCR) should be better. I believe the hotel is using high quality incredients but the final preparation was mediocre (pasta overcooked, pancakes undercooked). The Asian restaurant was both from staff (super slow, unfriendly) and food was not good.

Schönes Hotel, direkt an traumhaftem Strand.

Gut: Lage, Frühstücksbuffet
Nicht so gut: Schulung des Personals
Lage: Das Hotel liegt etwas abseits. Es lohnt sich, ein Auto zu mieten, um die Insel zu erkunden.
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt im AVANI sehr genossen. Das Frühstücksbuffet war grossartig. Upgrade auf Halbpension für 25 Euro pro Tag lohnt sich, denn das Abendbuffet ist auch sehr reichhaltig und vielseitig. Auswärts essen lohnt sich auf den Seychellen nicht wirklich, denn es ist in der Regel nicht berauschend und sehr teuer. Der Strand ist ideal zum Baden und Schnorcheln, weniger zum Schwimmen. Die Zimmer sind sehr geschmackvoll und gross, wir haben sogar ein Upgrade von Standard zu Meersicht bekommen, weil wir 2 Wochen da waren. Abzug gibt es, weil es sehr grosse Unterschiede gibt beim Service: Es gibt top ausgebildete Angestellte und solche, die verstehen nichts vom Fach und sind auch nicht sehr arbeitswillig.
Unter dem Strich jedoch: Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr zu empfehlen!

Great beach, friendly staff, great location

Great time
Veröffentlicht am 09.04.2018Had a wonderful stay. The staff is friendly, service is not that fast, but I wasn‘t in a rush, so why bother ;) clean, quiet room,nice gym, tennis court. The beach is not that impressive. Overall definitely worth a shot.

Nachdem wir von der Anreise sehr geschafft waren und unser Koffer leider auch verloren ging, mussten wir noch ca 1h am Check-In mit unserem kleinen quengeligen Sohn warten, bis wir unser Zimmer bekamen. Man bot uns ein Erfrischungstuch und ein Wassereis an und lud uns auf ein Getränk in der Bar ein. Unser Zimmer war OK, allerdings sehr hellhörig. An 2 von 3 Nächten wurden wir von der Discomusik aus dem Haupthaus in den Schlaf begleitet, sofern dieser überhaupt möglich war.
Der Strand ist sehr schön, auch für kleine Kinder geeignet, dar viel Schatten vorhanden ist und das Meer auch sehr flach zum Baden ist.
Das Hotel könnte hier und da eine Renovierung gebrauchen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich aber manchmal nicht sehr service-affin.
Das Essen ist in Ordnung. Vor allem ist das Thai-Restaurant mit seinem super Koch zu loben. Das Essen ist hier sehr lecker und der Koch kam extra an unseren Tisch, um uns zu beraten. Wir würden dieses Hotel nicht nochmal buchen. Von der Kategoroe her eher 3*.
