Sehr schönes Haus mit viel Flair

Gut: Der Dachgarten, die Einrichtung, die Größe von Zimmer und Bad; die Freundlichkeit des Empfangs.

Lage: Das Haus liegt mitten in der malerischen Altstadt von Ragusa Ibla; viel Tourismus; interessante Führungen zur Stadtgeschichte
Mitten im Gassengewirr von Ragusa Ibla liegt dieses sehr schöne Bed-and-Breakfast-Haus. Das Haus ist sehr stilvoll möbliert; Zimmer und Badezimmer sind groß, das Badezimmer hat eine Badewanne. Der Dachgarten, wo auch das üppige Frühstück serviert wird, ist traumhaft; auch tagsüber kann man im Garten sitzen und lesen. Paolo, der das Haus führt, ist sehr freundlich und sollte unbedingt beim Eintreffen in Ragusa-Ibla angerufen werden, weil man das Haus auch mit Navigationssystem wegen der engen Gassen sehr schwer finden kann. Paolo fährt dann vor und zeigt auch, wo man Parken kann. Er organisiert auch bei Wunsch eine Führung durch die Stadt und einen Tisch zum Abendessen.
Insgesamt: unbedingt empfehlenswert!

A charming and cosy B&B in Ibla- Ragusa

Gut: Amongst the various B&Bs we experienced on our journey around Sicily, this B&B really stood out on account of its charming atmosphere and comfort.
Nicht so gut: I can´t think of a single flaw.
Lage: In the very centre of historic Ragusa-Ibla a couple of steps from the beautiful Piazza Duomo which is well worth visiting.
We arrived by car on a cold and rainy March evening and it was a relief after the exhausting drive up the mountains to be able to park right outside the door. We hadn´t managed to contact the property as advised, one hour before arrival, but luckily didn´t have to wait long before Ariane appeared to welcome us in. Once inside all our woes were forgotten. It is a beautiful B&B exuding charm and warmth. Ariana advised where we should go for supper close by and lent me her electric kettle to heat water for my hot water bottle! Next morning, fortified by a good night´s sleep and a splendid breakfast up among the roof-tops of Ibla (in fine weather one could sit out on a pretty little terrace) we were ready to explore Ragusa.

Posizione eccellente, vicina al duomo di Ibla.Ottimo comfort della camera, materasso divino, l'aria condizionata non l'abbiamo mai accesa. Colazione di livello, molti i priodotti fatti in casa, eccellenti.

Très beau B&B rien a redire

Lovely 300 yr old townhouse behind Duomo. Tastefully furnished in period style. Pleasant helpful owner. List tel no essential as owner has to collect guests from town. On street parking

The hotel was about a 10 min walk through the main street, past the Duomo. The room was nicely decorated and the arched ceilings gave it a really nice touch. A lovely little spot in Sicily!
