Wir wollten ein Zimmer in Bahnhofnähe, da wir am nächsten Tag wieder weiter mussten. Da muss man auch in Kauf nehmen, dass es auch mal etwas lauter ist. Die Zimmer waren klein, aber sonst okay.

Eine gute und günstige Alternative für kurze Businessreisen nach Frankfurt. Die Anbindung an Bahnhof und Bankenviertel ist sehr gut.

it is a shame such hotels could be find in civilized world, namely Europe, for me 2 stars means small, modest but clean room was dirty - they do not clean or dust any surfaces - went to pharmacy and got alcohol and gauze to clean the room - bring your slippers because you do not want to touch the floor with bare feet decorative pillows were heavily stained and should be burned instead put on the clean bed linen – curtains stained and dirty well at least bed linen was clean – after I removed the dirty yellow pillows I sprayed the bed with alcohol to disinfect staff is friendly - though not helpful do not pay for in-room internet - it does not work - very friendly front desk clerk told me to try it again next day maybe it will work yes, rooms are smoking - a plus for me - when asked for an ashtray got a paper cup at the front desk – well at least windows can open - wide – a plus for a smoker or anyone that wants to air the stale smell of a room iron and ironing board need to be picked from the front desk and returned when finished and they have such a nice internet site – you may missed them for a nice place – I did

“Great location and value”

This is the second time I've stayed in Colour, and I'm a happy repeat customer. It is in a great location near the train station, and it also is close to tourist attractions. It is clean and a good value.

This was my second visit to this hotel. It is clean, secure and very well located for my purposes. It is just a short walk to the Hauptbahnhof and there is plenty of shopping, dining and entertainment in the area. Much more is just a short train ride away. The streets in the area are as safe as any I have seen in Frankfurt. The hotel itself is well maintained. Staff is always courteous and friendly. They speak English very well and strive to be helpful. The rooms are designed for my kind of travel: a place to sleep and then out you go. I stayed for 6 nights but spent little daytime in the room. It is quite small, but perfectly adequate for the single traveller. The toilet facilities (ensuite) were quite good and well maintained. My only complaint involves the computer service in the lobby area. There are 4 terminals available, but during my visit only 1 was working. To counter, I was allowed access to terminals in the adjacent hotel. The only downside to the service, when it is available, is that you cannot print. Airline boarding passes may be booked but not printed. This is not a major problem.

“Wouldn't Stay More than a Night”

The hotel location was convienient but the cleanliness, room size and comfort were not very appealing. We did not use the shower or towels as they did not appear to be clean. Also, the walls were scuffed and extremely dirty... a good coat of paint would help a lot. That being said, it was very affordable and considering we needed a place to crash before flying out the next morning, the hotel was OK.

“funky little hotel in heart of Frankfurt”

Very nice staff, quite accommodating. Helped with directions and recommendations for museums. Internet consoles are free but no printing. Wifi costs extra. Room was very small, but manageable for just a night. Within walking distance of river and main train station, makes this an ideal spot for a quick night or two in town. (Also just down the street from a busy Irish pub.) Hotel itself has a modern flair to it. Plus a free ticket for a beer in the bar downstairs!
