Firstly, the staff was excellent -- very friendly and helpful. The pool area was great and it's right on the beach which was great as well. You can also walk across to the other Riu which has a casino which was fun. As far as the rooms go, they could definitely use a facelift. Our room had cracks in the sink, chips in the mirror, the curtains did not fully close, the shower did not drain well (so it pooled while taking a shower), and the mattress hard as a rock. The food was by far the worst part of this property. We paid for the all inclusive but ended up going out to dinner most nights because the food was not good at all, other than maybe the breakfast buffet. Overall we would not stay here again, but appreciate the hard work of all the staff. They were the shining stars!

Awesome stay! Friendly staff! Room Service selections were very limited but they were prompt! Overall, excellent stay!

I think they should remodel the inside of the hotel and have better elevators. The room have a lot of humidity. That should be fixed as well But overall I had a great time and the service was great!!!

Our “upgraded” room was horrible but the hotel and other surrounding hotels were all booked up so I couldn’t check into another one . We have so many photos of all the things in our room that were horrible and we spoke to front desk about them . Lovely hotel and friendly service but rooms and elevators need to be updated fast

It's all inclusive with plenty of food options, shows every night, large swimming pool and beach. Highly recommend

I’ve been to Aruba before. First time staying here. If you are staying here do not eat at the Al carte restaurants, way below par. Buffets were descent a lot of choices. Rooms need updating, Had to call maintenance 3x because my safe with my valuables would not open. And there were holes in bottom of it and one of my diamond earrings slipped through. They had to take the whole safe apart. Other than that, Aruba is beautiful. The weather is amazing so if you come to Aruba, there are a lot of better places to stay.
